Percival Edmund Wentworth
"Wenty" Ford
A soft-tossing pitcher who became the 4th. Major League baseball player from the Bahamas. He signed with the Atlanta Braves, first as a Rookie, later on to Class A ball, then on to the Major League. Wenty was an all-around sportsman, participating in cricket, basketball, tennis, and golf, however, he enjoyed baseball more. His photo was added to the Wall of Fame at the Lynden Pindling International Airport then he entered the National Hall of Fame of The
Bahamas.
